Good Traffic Tips
Drop-Off Procedures

All Kindergarten and 1st grade students must be dropped off at the back of the school by the cafeteria. Older siblings of K-1 graders may also be dropped off here.

2nd-5th grade students must be dropped off at the front of the school.

Students must exit from the passenger (right) side next to the sidewalk. Do not exit or enter from the driver's (left) side.

Stay in your vehicle at all times; do not get out in the car line. If you need to get out, please park in the lot.
To keep the line moving:

Have backpacks and belongings ready.

Students should be prepared to exit when the door opens.
If you need extra time:
-
Stay in the line and pull forward; a staff member will assist if needed.

Do not drop off students in the parking lot—it’s unsafe due to traffic. You may park and walk your child to the crosswalk.
Follow all traffic signs on Study Lane:

Do not drop off students on Study Lane.

Park and walk them to the crosswalk.
Tardy bell: Rings at 7:30 AM.

After that, parents must walk students in and sign them in.

Do not drop students off alone after 7:30.
Pick-Up Procedures:

Kinder, 1st grade, and their older siblings will meet and exit the building in the back, closest to the playground.

2nd-5th grade will exit in the front of the school.

During pick-up, please remain in your vehicle.

Students should get in the vehicle on the right side/passenger side, next to the sidewalk.

Students should never exit or enter the vehicle on the left side/driver’s side.

Parents will be provided with car tags on Meet the Teacher night. Please hang the car tag on the car visor or windshield.

If you don’t get a car tag, please call the school at 972-968-1900 to request one.

This rule is enforced: students are not allowed to leave without the tag.
